While spending some time at one of our city libraries, one Saturday afternoon, I encountered a group of highly dedicated, friendly individuals promoting the therapeutic benefits of a procedure called 5NP ear acupuncture. A process that requires the placement of 5 sterile needles into various points of our ears. I was told that my time involvement would require around thirty minutes, I asked if they had a procedure that wouldn’t require the thirty minutes on my part, they informed me that we could opt for the placement of some sticky disks that would only take about five minutes and that these little sticky beads would fall out on their own. This I agreed to. I found all of this to be different than anything I had done before, so the excitement of trying something different and new propelled me through the remainder of my day. Upon waking on Sunday morning. I experienced this profound, tranquil, peaceful feeling of acceptance and gratitude for my life. I do not consider myself an unhappy person and I could only attribute this heavenly experience to my involvement with the 5NP ear acupuncture procedure from the day before. I was so moved that I decided to reach out to one of the organizers of the Okie Pokey Clinic from Saturday and tell them what a great service they were providing for people.

I have stayed in contact with the volunteers associated with the Okie Pokey Clinic here in Oklahoma.

I have found them to be dedicated, responsible, professional and committed to being of service to the people of Oklahoma and our personal desires to improve our lives.
